The Imposter Party application (the "App") is published by Alpaga, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of EUR 50, whose registered office is located at 7 allées de Chartres, 33000 Bordeaux, France, registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 881 850 556, acting as the controller of your personal data.

Imposter Party is played without creating an account. You don't need to provide an email address, a phone number or any real identity.
The App collects no personally identifying data. We process a limited set of technical data, described below, strictly necessary to run and improve the game.
Anonymous technical identifier. To enable online games, the App generates an anonymous technical identifier tied to your device, through Firebase Authentication (Google) in anonymous mode. This identifier contains no personal information and is not linked to your identity.
Nickname. The nickname you choose is saved on your device so you don't have to type it again. When you play online, it is associated with your game so other players can recognise you.
Game content. When you play online, the drawings made during the game and the game elements (votes, accusations, round progress) are processed for the duration of the game in order to run it and display them to the other players.
Age confirmation. To access content restricted to adults (18+ pack), you enter your date of birth. This information is used only to check that you meet the age requirement; it is kept locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Analytics data. We process usage data (usage events, device and system type, technical session data) to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This data is attached to the anonymous identifier and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Purchases. In-app purchases (packs and full access) are handled by the app stores, Apple App Store and Google Play. We never receive or store your payment information; we may receive a technical confirmation of the purchase in order to unlock the corresponding content.
We process your data for the following purposes:
Anonymous identifier, nickname associated with the game and online game content: kept on our servers until you request their deletion from the App settings ("Delete my data").
Nickname and preferences: kept on your device until you erase them or uninstall the App.
Age confirmation: kept locally on your device until you erase it or uninstall the App.
Analytics data: kept in aggregated or pseudonymised form for no longer than 13 months from collection.
Data needed to comply with legal obligations: kept for the legally required period.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your data is shared only with the technical providers needed to run the App, acting as processors on our behalf and on our instructions:

Analytics (PostHog) is set up on infrastructure hosted in the European Union.
Some providers, in particular Google (Firebase), may process data outside the European Union. In that case, such transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at imposter@alpaga.io.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure. As no transmission over the Internet is fully secure, we cannot, however, guarantee absolute security.
The App is designed to collect no identifying data. Content restricted to adults (18+) is subject to age confirmation. If you hold parental authority and believe that a minor has provided data without authorisation, contact us at imposter@alpaga.io.
The App uses no advertising cookies and no tracking for targeting purposes. Analytics is strictly anonymous and limited to the statistics needed to improve the game; it cannot identify you and does not require consent under the rules applicable to trackers. You can turn it off at any time with the "Help improve the app" switch in the App's settings.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of your consent at any time where processing is based on it.
At any time you can delete your data from the App settings, under "Delete my data": this erases the data stored on your device (nickname, preferences, age confirmation) and removes from our servers your online session, your game content and your anonymous identifier.
You have the right to give directions concerning the fate of your data after your death.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
We may update this policy. The version that applies is the one available at the time you use the App. In the event of a material change, we make our best effort to inform you by an appropriate means.
